dust

dust November 13, 2016 0 Comments

we are all
are puffs of
dust to dust

vanishing
into dawn’s
rosy breast

we drift all
drift in shafts
shimmering

in blue in
mauve in green
golden light

we fall all
fall in dusk’s
wine dark depths

in night we
rest all rest
stars like dust
