the way of all flesh 20

the unfiltered sun
blazes beyond color in
the black emptiness

the atmosphere slants
light, illuminating all
it breathes into life

the wall blurs borders
between jagged patches of taupe
and deep grey shadows

in the mirror on
the wall, cream pools soak into
the greenish-grey ground

eyes, brains, and minds whip
tones, tints, and shades into worlds
we live and dream in
